The Hamptons: entry price and what it unlocks
The Hamptons is the seventh Big Ambitions neighbourhood, added in the 1.0 release on 28 August 2026. It is mostly residential — a small retail strip, a few new luxury stores, buyable mansions, and a gated community with a private dock. The developer’s own price hint is vague (“a few million dollars”); a fan wiki reports a precise range we have not independently verified. The calculator on this page uses that unverified range and says so on every result, so you can judge it yourself instead of taking a number on faith.

Claims PATCH-10 and FD-WIKITEXT, captured 30 August 2026. The wiki edit that added this range is timestamped 2026-08-28T23:24 UTC — the same day 1.0 shipped. We archived the page but have not played the game ourselves to confirm the numbers, which is why the calculator above states its source on every result instead of presenting the figure as settled.

- How much does a house cost in the Hamptons?
- The developer only says “a few million dollars” (claim PATCH-10) — no figure given. A fan-maintained wiki reports a range of $18.4 million (T1) to $85.5 million (T11) (claim FD-WIKITEXT), which we have not independently verified against in-game screenshots and mark TBA.
- Who already lives in the Hamptons?
- Uncle Fred and his golf nemesis Richard have homes there, according to the 1.0 announcement. It also says your story rivals have homes in the area, unless you have already driven them out of the city.
- What do I actually get for owning a Hamptons home?
- Access to two homeowners-only activities: Halcyon Fairway, a golf driving range, and A Racket of Love, a tennis court. Both are confirmed directly in the 1.0 announcement (claim PATCH-10).
- Is the retail strip only in the Hamptons?
- The announcement describes the Hamptons as mostly a residential area that still has a fancy retail strip, plus a few new luxury stores. It does not give a count, and does not say whether business locations elsewhere in the city changed (claim PATCH-10).
- Does the Hamptons have its own rival business owner?
- We do not know. The pre-1.0 wiki text says every district has a rival except Lower Manhattan; nothing in the 1.0 notes confirms or denies a Hamptons rival, so we are not going to guess (claims FD-WIKITEXT, PATCH-10).
